Richard Maize - Accomplished Real Estate and Finance Professional

Entrepreneur Richard “Rich” Maize completed his education at California State University, Northridge before he entered the real estate industry. In his first few years in business, Richard Maize acquired more than 1,000 residential units across California. He subsequently founded a successful mortgage firm, which he grew into one of the largest banking mortgage companies in the United States.

After he sold the company, Rich Maize funneled his profits into diverse business investments, properties in 20 states, and philanthropic efforts. He is one of the backers of the Richeeze Melts food truck franchise, which sells the lunchtime staples of grilled cheese and soup across California.

In addition, he supports nonprofits and humanitarian programs focused on local and international causes through the Rochelle & Richard Maize Foundation. Past partner organizations and grant recipients include Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and National Jewish Health. He also serves as a board director of the American Cancer Society.
